Our hearts are cracked wide open,

leaking with the memories and love you have left behind for us.

If I close my eyes I can hear your beautiful laugh, see your beautiful smile,

remember what it feels like to be wrapped in your hug.

or on the days the sun burns our skin.

We’ll find you in cars moving (much) too fast, on days we feel like giving up

Above the clouds in a chopper, in a field of partridge and on the quiet nights
